Summary

Description
English: Photo taken at or near Sweetwater archaeological site, on the Buffalo-Sherman county line just northwest of Sweetwater, Nebraska. Camera is facing generally westward; the BNSF tracks and Nebraska Highway 2 beyond them run northwest-southeast. The camera is atop the bench on which the archaeological site lies, at the edge of the cut for the railroad tracks. The nearby trees right of center are on a slope where the bench descends to a former channel of Muddy Creek.

This is an image of a place or building that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the United States of America. Its reference number is 74001141.
