Description
English: See the Wikipedia entry for the Ansick Site, this site is the only known burial site for the Clovis culture, and has been dated to be within the interval : 12,707 –12,556 years Before Present. The Map, based on a Google Earth image is included in this entry to provide information about the site. The photograph was taken about a mile from the site to the northeast, an image with an arrow showing the site location is included.. With the exception of the land in the foreground being tilled and used for farming, the geographical bearing of the site has not appreciably changed since the burial occurred. The image was taken on 12 April, 2015, note the snow on hillside in the background, less than 300m (1000 ft) above the site.
