English: After learning that 70% of U.S. traffic consists of people driving alone, Danny Kim was convinced that 4,000-pound vehicle wasn't the best way to transport one person. It was time for a truly smart commuter car designed from the ground up unlike anything produced by the auto industry so far.
"It became apparent to me that there was a lot of waste in our transportation system, so I decided to cut the car in half and build an electric, gyro-stabilized vehicle," he said. This idea led him become founder and CTO of Lit Motors, a startup based in San Francisco. |
