DescriptionThe hall of the Vicars Choral, Exeter - geograph.org.uk - 267137.jpg
English: The hall of the Vicars Choral, Exeter All that remains of a C14 college built for the junior clergy of the cathedral, after gradual demolition followed by the 1942 bombing. These "pathetic remains", as Cherry and Pevsner rather cruelly refer to them, are on South Street, and, if the gate is unlocked, it's a handy route through to the Cathedral Close; one of the cathedral towers can be glimpsed through an arch.
