Summary

Description
English: There's a motte and bailey somewhere in those trees Looking east across the caravan site from the churchyard at Dingestow is this small wood beyond the River Trothy. Somewhere, hidden in the woodland is all that remains of a motte and bailey castle. Mill Wood Motte is around 15 feet high and is very overgrown. It was built to guard the crossing over the river.
