Description
English: Cross section of the remains of a Ptolemaic-era tomb at Sidi Gaber, Alexandria, done by August Thiersch around 1902. The tomb is dated to the 3rd century BCE. Shown here is a view of the vestibule with the kline chamber visible in the back, both brightly painted. Plate 2 in Zwei antike Grabanlagen bei Alexandria, published in 1904 by Hermann Thiersch.
