English: THE LOCOMOTIVE WAS BUILT BY THE AMERICAN LOCOMOTIVE COMPANY IN NOVEMBER 1942 FOR THE U.S. WAR DEPARTMENT. THE LOCOMOTIVE IS A 0-6-0 "SWITCHING"-TYPE BUILT FOR STANDARD GAUGE TRACK. AFTER WWII IT WAS SOLD TO PRIVATE CONCERNS AND FOR A WHILE IT WAS USED AS THE LOCOMOTIVE FOR SCENIC EXCURSIONS. IT IS PRESENTLY UNDER A BLUE TARPAULIN AWAITING RENOVATION WHICH IS DELAYED FOR AT LEAST TWO YEARS FOR LACK OF FUNDS.
THIS TRAIN ALSO HAS ITS TENDER IN THE WHIPPANY TRAIN MUSEUM. WIKIPEDIA HAS A SEPARATE ARTICLE ON THIS TRAIN WITH NO PICTURES PLUS BEING LISTED IN THE REGISTERY WITH NO PICTURES. I SHALL SEND THE TRAIN AND THE TENDER PICTURE
