I was stationed on the Cook Inlet from May 1967 through December 1970. This photo is pre-1971 as the Cook Inlet was sent to Vietnam and given to that nation. It is also pre-1968, as about 1968, the ship had an orange and blue stripe painted on the fore-hull. I know, I helped lay it out and paint it.
