Summary

Description
English: Photo #: 80-G-670850. The bow of the USS Kentucky (BB-66) being transported on a large crane barge from Newport News, Virginia, to the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, circa May-June 1956. It was used to repair USS Wisconsin (BB-64), which had been damaged in a collision on 6 May 1956. Tug closest to camera is Alamingo (YTB-227). Tug on other side of barge is Apohola (YTB-502).
Polski: Sygnatura zdjęcia: 80-G-670850. Dziób USS Kentucky (BB-66) transportowany przy pomocy barki z Newport News, Virginia do Norfolk Naval Shipyard około maja - czerwca 1956. Został użyty do naprawy USS Wisconsin (BB-64), który został zniszczony w kolizji 6 maja 1956. Holownik najbliższy to Alamingo (YTB-227). Holownik po drugiej stronie barki to Apohola (YTB-502).
