Description
English: Echols (APB-37) under tow near the Boston Navy Yard on 15 April 1948, the date on which she was placed in service in reserve. This ship did not receive its armament but has its full complement of lifeboats and davits. The last unit of her class to be competed, she was never placed in full commission.
