Summary

Description

Valladolid – España (Spain) - Real Chancillería - Biblioteca Reina Sofía: Fue construido a mediados del siglo XV para Alonso Pérez de Vivero. A finales del mismo siglo se ubicó en el edificio el Tribunal de Justicia. En la estancia llamada Sala Rica, el 14 de octubre de 1469, se celebró el matrimonio de los Reyes Católicos. Posteriormente pasó la propiedad del palacio a la Corona y se habilitó para Chancillería. En 1562 por orden de Felipe II se construye junto al palacio un edificio para el archivo del Supremo.

En la actualidad todo el conjunto alberga la Biblioteca Universitaria Reina Sofía y la Casa del Estudiante, propiedad de la Universidad de Valladolid.
