Description
English: Caricature of Sir William Withey Gull, one of four physicians-in-ordinary to Her Majesty Queen Victoria. It was published with the caption "Physiological Physic". The artist was Carlo Pellegrini, known as "Ape", whose earlier 1869 caricature of Benjamin Disraeli was the first of a series of over 2000 caricatures published in Vanity Fair magazine, featuring prominent personalities of the time.
