Summary

Description
English: View from the Post Office Tower in 1966 (4)

Looking towards the east southeast. To the left, with the green dome, is the British Museum. Above this is Tower Bridge and the River Thames. The skyscraper on the right is Centre Point which was unoccupied at the time of this photograph.

At 581ft, the Post Office Tower was the tallest building to be completed in London during the 1960s. This view was taken from the revolving restaurant near its top. The tower is now known as the BT Tower and the restaurant is no longer operational.
