Description
English: Image is of a child safety harness and walking reins from 1974. The item was manufactured and sold in the United Kingdom by Mothercare plc., being marketed under the title "Clasp-fast Harness". The harness was a child safety product designed for use by those between birth and four years of age. The item is made from polypropylene webbing in a navy blue colour, with metal fittings. The front piece features the Mothercare plc. logo. The walking rein, which would be held by the parent as the child wore the harness while walking is about 90cm in length.
