Summary

Description

One of the places the Queen lives in when outside London. It's located to the West of London, not far from Heathrow Airport.

It's the location of the wedding of Prince Harry (Henry) to Meghan Markle on 19 May 2018.

Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world and has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years. It is an official residence of Her Majesty The Queen and is still very much a working royal palace today, home to around 150 people.

If you zoom in and look at the entrance you may - just - be able to see a Royal Guard marching from one side to the other, past 3 other people standing there.

On the Round Tower, at the left I think I see the Royal Standard flying - the Queen's personal flag, which would indicate that when I took the picture she was in residence at the castle..
