Summary

Description
English: Winster Market House The lower part of this ancient building in Main Street dates from the very early 1700s, when the village was granted the right to hold a Saturday market - the arched area would then have been open for the selling of butter, cheese and other local produce. The building was given to the National Trust in 1906 when the upper storey was rebuilt. It is now home to a model of the village.
