• The subject is deceased as of 19th January, 2006
• A free alternative could not be created unless the family are willing to release private photos; no method is known of contacting the family
• The photo is of very low resolution and does not limit the ability of the copyright holder to profit by selling the image
• The photo contributes significantly to the article by showing the subject, a convert from Islam to Buddhism whose conversion went unrecognised by the government of Malaysia until after her death; specifically, it shows that she is of more typically Malay than Chinese appearance, and that she was willing to be photographed without a headscarf
