No, the problem is using your admin powers in a way that can't be reversed in order to gain an upper-hand in a dispute in which you're already a part. And if you're not a part of the dispute, it's considered unkosher to block an image from Commons; that's usually handled on a content basis (i.e., removing the offending image from en.wp articles, or blocking the user who adds it if it's a problem). If you'd like a second opinion, maybe we should take it to WP:ANI (although I am going off-wiki for the time being - I am certainly willing to have my own admin actions reversed if ANI disagrees). "Murzuq bend"?[edit]

The three towns in the district of Murzuq seem to share some features, as of present (7 September): the line of control _and_ being on the edge (or near it) between sandy and stony desert. Is this a coincidence? I can see a high level of control cannot be equally as important in a sandy desert – if there's no oil or oases to protect. So no news from the sandy desert may not necessarily mean Gaddafi control either. What do you think?--Paracel63 (talk) 13:17, 7 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
