The image is partially a self-portrait of Campbell, as well as a cover to his work. It thus not only illustrates his appearance, but also his artistic style, his oeuvre and his reason for notability, that of being an artist. I do not think a similar image can be freely and easily sourced that would provide substantially the same information. The key word here is substantial. Whilst the use to illustrate his appearance may be replaced, we would still need an image to illustrate Campbell's art style and oeuvre, and it seems redundant to delete this image and later add another fair use image to the article, when using this image in four uses makes it's fair use claim stronger than other images used for only one or two purposes.   • I also dispute that our policy states that "NFC not allowed in WP:BLP pages", which is the reason listed for deletion. I cannot find a mention of the word biography or BLP in WP:NFC. Hiding T 15:30, 20 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
