Morocco[edit]

There are no evidence of presence of carthaginois in moroco. It is not proven. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.156.88.144 (talk) 19:38, 19 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, you're completely wrong about that. The majority of graves around Tunis fill up with Carthaginian jewelry and goods by the 6th century BC. Their presence at Ceuta, Tangier, and other ports are very well attested. — LlywelynII 04:16, 16 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Missing cities[edit]

If this is going to be the major image for English Wiki's article on the Carthaginian Empire, it should be more accurate (Punic names with or instead of the latinate ones) and more complete. Inter alia,

  • Tinga (Tangier) in place of Tingis
  • Abyla? (Ceuta) at the southeastern end of the Strait of Gibraltar
  • Zilis? (Asilah) southwest of Tinga
  • Kart (San Roque) instead of Carteia near the Rock of Gibraltar

is missing. — LlywelynII 04:16, 16 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
