Interesting photo. I have never seen this before, and I wonder what the advantage of an extender might be. It appears to move the axis of the main gear slightly forward. Perhaps a bit more stability on landing, ie less tendency to groundloop??? LarryB55 (talk) 01:31, 10 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
