Identification[edit]

Based on the location this image was taken (Big Cypress National Preserve), this is an example of A. p. conanti. The head pattern seems to agree with this assessment. Judging from its body coloration, this will be a young adult specimen: dorsal pattern still visible, but no hint of a more lightly colored tail tip. --Jwinius 20:33, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
