Why does Wikipedia include the EU in this map? Is there a reason? Where was this discussion held? 79.72.137.117 (talk) 16:56, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly because it is a map of the UK shown relative to the rest of the EU (of which the UK is a member) as the title suggests? -- Boing! said Zebedee 17:00, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

February 2011[edit]

Why is this image no longer appearing properly on the United Kingdom page? Krazytea(talk) 21:19, 16 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Isle of Man and Channel Islands[edit]

While the map is correct in showing that these nations are not part of the UK it is still incorrect because they are shaded in light green suggesting they are part of the EU. They are not. A quick check at the EU, IOM, Jersey or Guernsey article pages will confirm this. They should be coloured grey.--109.114.71.177 (talk) 21:20, 20 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The islands are grey. If they appear green, it is likely because they are near green areas and the eye tends to be easily confused. CMD (talk) 23:26, 20 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
