This is a BMP-2, and on top you can see the charred remains of either the commander or the gunner. It seems that the BMP was pierced by high-caliber bullets to which the APC is very vulnerable and a detonation of the arnament and reserve fuel tanks which are inside the back doors took place. It may not have blonged to the Russian forces, but to the opposition which without much planning stormed the city of Grozny in the beginning of the war. It may even have blonged to the rebels themselves as the wielded much weaponry captured from Soviet-army garrisons in 1991-1992.
