The colours for the two lower groups of Gini coefficient are very similar and should be changed, so that it will be easier to see the difference between them. --Oddeivind (talk) 06:30, 13 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

==[edit]

I agree that the color of Sweden should stand out more since it is the only nation in its category. Particularly when not zoomed in, the color blurs with the other purple found in Europe.

One more remark: the categories are shown not back to back, but to an imaginary point. For instance, New Zealand's category should be from .35 to .40, while now it is shown as .35 to .39. This leaves a gap of .01 between all categories. I understand what the creator is trying to tell, but the ranges should be delivered back to back.

Other than that: THANK YOU so much for creating this map. I consider this the most important map of our world. FredrickS (talk) 15:08, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

incorrect data?[edit]

I could be wrong but the data for Japan at least looks wrong, it suggests the inequality is worse than the UK, but if you look at most of the data sets, Japan is one of the least unequal societies?
