I would like to hear from others on this platform--'newbi' here so please be patient. The worlds of Gates and Mac have become illitest who are not developing for the user, but for money to the point it almost makes it a 'non-pleasurable' experience to work or use the simple home computer that wows us every once in a while.

Latest "wow' was USING YouTube full screen that showed floating bubbles once the video was finished and after touching it it explodes "universesqe" to show you wow othe videos related to this video and so on. Allowed me to use my mind's eye to see a butterfly effect that blossomed into this really neat and unique universe of music I created I wanted to keep moving thru this space to see where the tech winds would move me.

Example of a 'non-wow' is any new addition or change in the microsoft office suite--I can get word '97 and excel 97 to patch into this monstrosity of VISTA(HOME PREMIUM)-burnt coffee to me--I'd rather revert this new computer to XP and have programs or even a good old sit down at the computer feel good at what I was doing. In XP I at least had programs that worked and didn't just stop or slow to a snail's crawl that you think it has all locked up that you just shut it down and walk away. I"VE BEEN DUMBED DOWN by an UPGRADE?

How does it look for this gOS for usefullness and at least letting me get a video->watch it->decide I Like it->copy to my computer->have the capabilitiy to change it into different formats->and even by the grace of God get it on a DVD and create a personal movie with my vid. clip, music, sound and have somewhat smooth and graceful production?

Also how does it work with the big companies (Bellsouth/AT&T)for connection via DSL and other big named programs? Sorry for the minor b---hfest. Surely I'm not the only one having problems on almost every installation and sheer mass of crap that keeps building up on daily, simple use? Can anyone hear me,Can anyone see me, can anyone help me? Sory for any mispellings or inapropriate use of Wikipedia's guidelines.
