Hi,

This can be misleading to called a Griesbach New Testament. It is his base text (with various apparatus and introductions and lexicons and notes by Scholz and Bass and others) published almost 50 years after his passing. It is not his edition and notes.

The 1 John 5:7 notes there do not look like they come from the Diatribe. (e.g. huge blunder on the "Latin fathers"). The Introductory pages are not clear as to who they are, on reading the first pass, Gospel book notes may be Scholz. J. H. Bass is the lexicon.

The notes so far are hard to place and are clearly not top scholarship.
