Wildcat painting[edit]

The credit says the "watercolor" image is in the public domain because it has been used in a US Government publication. My colleague Ted Wilbur painted it (in oil, as noted under the summary) for the cover of my Naval Institute Press book "Wildcat: the F4F in World War II." Presumably Ted and USNIP gave permission to DoD to reproduce the image.
