this is not the "hitching tie" taught by Boyscouts of America. Unfortunately I do not have the originators digital illustration skills, but what is shown for how tie this knot is just a basic slip knot. Try as I might I cannot convert this simple slipknot into the "Hitching Tie" whose representation you can see (but I do not have the rights to) by google image searching for "Forty Knots a visual aid for knot tying BSA" or at [1] shown on the bottom half, third knot up on the right side. 71.227.207.120 (talk) 16:06, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
