This image is inaccurate[edit]

Italy lost control of Italian East Africa in 1941 and British forces had pushed inside Libya at this time until Rommel pushed the British back to El Alamein, Egypt in 1942. Further in 1941, Italy did not control Tunisia or large portions of southeastern France, that happened in 1942.--R-41 (talk) 18:00, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Rather than showing Italian possessions at a certain time, this map shows the maximum extent of the Empire. The caption underneath this image on the Kingdom of Italy (1861–1946) article is erroneous however, so you should've notified the author of this on the respective talk page. --NFSreloaded (talk) 15:21, 29 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
