FUR Shortcomings is addressed properly → so removing {{di-disputed fair use rationale}} from the file page.—(harith·discuss) 04:02, 30 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting of {{di-disputed fair use rationale}} removal[edit]

To editor Stefan2:
Your feedback was asked before removal, as the image description is changed accordingly w.r.t. your suggestion "The file looks acceptable in the article Marthanda Varma (film)" in the discussion User talk:Stefan2#Image file issues. So the removal of {{di-disputed fair use rationale}} was done. You opt to not to respond, why such a rollback ?
I am so sorry to say that, I feel that you are expressing some kind of dislike towards the subject article or the contributor. I think we shall take this into further discussions, because it seems like your are obsessed with some of Wikipedia rules and regulations (if I am not wrong, otherwise my apologies for the same) with which you are spearheading with nominations, I am not saying its wrong, but too much of adhering to anything is not neutral, though it helps Wikipedia in one way, but do keep in mind not to forget the five pillars of Wikipedia. Please use the talk pages.

You chose to mark all of your edits to the file information page as minor, thereby signalling that your contributions were unimportant and that responding wasn't urgent. If you want someone to respond to your questions, consider marking them as major contributions instead of minor contributions.
The template I added obviously points out two problems: the file violates WP:NFCC#8 on one page and the FUR was for the wrong article. You chose to fix the second problem but left the other one unfixed. Another error was that you marked the file as unfree, so I assumed that you had correctly identified the file as being unfree. Now I see that it says that the film is from 1933, meaning that it is {{PD-India}}. --Stefan2 (talk) 11:26, 2 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Stefan2:, I am extremely sorry for the situations created by the marking of my edits as minor, Thanks for pointig out. I will make sure to classify precisely as required. I am of the view that, if a file is used in multiple articles, and if usage of the same in one of them is in question, then the discussion shall in the talk page of the article in question, when the usage in others are proper. My opinion is debatable. As the file was tagged unfree, the image descriptions related to the possible usages are updated accordingily, which hopefully doesnot goes against the interest of Wikipedia. Thanks again, for the changes. — (harith·discuss) 22:51, 2 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
