The notion that Israel doesnt have a state religion is absurd. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.16.3.248 (talk) 03:10, 11 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Norway and Finland have no longer state religions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.238.30.247 (talk) 15:59, 12 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The Finnish constitution[1] expressly mentions the Evangelical-Lutheran Church, and the Church Act[2] guarantees the said church a role in the legislative process in affairs concerning the church, including a prerogative on initiatives amending the Church Act. --89.27.36.41 (talk) 02:43, 16 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone edit this so that you can actually see Israel on the map?24.16.117.135 (talk) 23:33, 2 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Norway has no longer a state church[edit]

The Norwegian state has been named secular by a Parliamentary Act and broke all ties with the Lutheran church. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.102.155.78 (talk) 22:11, 23 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Argentina?[edit]

The article states, that the state religion of Argentina is catholisism. Shouldn't the map reflect the article? --213.243.165.194 (talk) 01:44, 13 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Israel[edit]

Israel should be removed. There is no declaration anywhere that Judaism is their state religion. In the Israeli context, "Jewish" is merely a religion but also an ethnicity, i.e. large numbers of Israeli Jews are in fact atheist and this doesn't make them a bit less "Jewish" than their Haredi/Orthodox brethren. Israel declares no state religion...--Yalens (talk) 01:02, 14 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Map needs a major revision.[edit]

As outlined both here and in the main article's "talk page" this map is now outdated and doesn't accurately reflect the content of the article. Probably the most glaring flaw is listing England as Roman Catholic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.74.70.101 (talk) 18:46, 22 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This map is all wrong (or the legend is) after the recent revert by User:Superbenjamin. At the moment it lists England and the Scandinavian countries as Catholic (but they're Anglican and Lutheran), it lists Israel as Lutheran and the Vatican as secular. What a mess ... Pinnerup (talk) 07:09, 29 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The legend is wrong, not the map. And currently, it does list the Vatican as having a State religion and Israel as not. --Superbenjamin (talk) 08:35, 29 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Iraq[edit]

Surely Iraq is now Shia dominated?, tho I don't know whether it is officially Shia or not? --Elmeter (talk) 02:31, 4 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Armenia[edit]

Armenia should be on this map. QubecMan (talk) 03:21, 26 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
