Deletion discussion[edit]

I'm not seeing anyone provide facts so I will. I think it's clearly legitimate - an official release and prominently reported as such so we should not contest WP:DUE. I think the copyright status evidence is above the level otherwise accepted, and that there is no ontrary evidence saying otherwise

  • This stance was used for the current Donald Trump image
  • Whitehouse announcements of it included a web press release
  • Media coverage is supporting the notion that this is the official portrait for exmple BBC, CNN, NBC, NPR
  • CNN report provided additional info "The photograph was taken in the West Sitting Hall of the White House private residence, CNN confirmed. The photographer, Regine Mahaux, is well-known for her celebrity portraiture and has taken several pictures of Trump in the past, including high-glamour editorial images."

I think this one is simple -- (1) correct the file information in wikimedia to match the cites, and use it on the Melania Trump web page as the lead image.
