Whether or not the structure depicted in this photo is an example of "Miami Modern" architecture is beyond me. But I can advise that it was for many years (1960s-1990s) a Citgo gas station, not a restaurant, to which it has only been converted in recent years. The original color scheme was white. The article would be greatly strenghthened with photos of classic Mimo buildings rather than the rather marginal Barcardi museum complex which in line and other detail is atypical of the genre the author is attempting to describe.
