So I see these arteries and wonder if there are any connections to the pain I have been having in the back of my head. Just out of curiosity if anybody might be experiencing the same situation or know something about it, but the tenderness and pain is up and behind my ear toward the back of my head which I believe it to be the occipital bone area. When I go to rub the pain out it snaps and causes a sharp pain to run across the back of my head. This happens on both sides of my head in the same area. It's weird and I have been trying to figure out what it might be and if I should be worried about it. Anywho, this image of the arteries in the back there is similar to where I am having this pain.
