Nuclei don't really look like that (protons and neutrons drawn as balls stuck together), but are just drawn that way for simplification. Anyway, the strength of the nuclear force is about the same regardless of whether it is binding protons or neutrons. Double sharp (talk) 03:10, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
