White solder paste[edit]

That is not "white solder paste" on those holes.

Agreed, it's just tin plating, and anyway solder paste looks shiny silver after reflow soldering. --Arteitle (talk) 02:32, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I designed the board and uploaded the photo. No reflow soldering was done - it was done by hand using flux pens and solder wick. Mike1024 (t/c) 16:13, 8 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

What is it?[edit]

Call me curious, but I would like to know what the function of this little device was intended to be. I'm no engineer but I see the words "charger" and "control", a substantial integrated circuit package (microprocessor?) and four lights that must be intended to indicate some status situations. Is it a battery charger controller? I'll bet someone who knows will eventually answer this. Why not add it to the image description? —Blanchette (talk) 21:19, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's a control board for a FIRA MiroSot robot. I didn't put it in the image description because it didn't seem relevant. Mike1024 (t/c) 16:13, 8 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
