Grantha script of writing the Sanskrit language (rather than the Devanagiri script) is still being used by the teachers and students of Sri Guru Sarvabhauma Samskritha Vidyapeetam attached to Sri Raghavendra Swamy Matam at Manthralayam in Andhra Pradesh in India. Transliteration, Devanagari and Tibetan do not match.[edit]

I only know how to read Devanagari and Tibetan, but they don't match the transliteration. I don't know which is correct. I can only assume the other scripts are suspect as well.

Transliteration: śivō rakṣatu girvārṇabhāṣārasāsvādatatparān

Devanagari: śivo rakṣatu gīrvaṇabhāṣārasāsvādatatparān

Tibetan: śivo rakśahu gīraṇābhāṣārasāsvādahaparāna

And I must second the other user's call for Grantha, to which I would add Siddhaṁ. These are the two most important scripts for Sanskrit after Devanagari; both are still in use today.

Yes, there are also a few problems in the Gurmukhi script and in the Devanagari script. I think it would be a good idea to take a good look at this image and redo it. –Biocrite (talk) 08:35, 11 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
