March 2013[edit]

The purple arrow pointing to the supreme court should just be from the Senate, not congress as a whole. The House/VP do not confirm Supreme court nominees. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.136.26.131 (talk) 19:43, 30 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ditto. The Senate approves the President's selection of the members of the Supreme Court. TuckerResearch (talk) 19:15, 9 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Furthermore[edit]

Some kind of distinction should be drawn between the Supreme Court and the lower federal judiciary, to make clear that Congress establishes it (via legislation subject to the presentation clause), and the President appoints judges to it subject to the advice and consent of the Senate. Also, another line is necessary to show the ability of the US Supreme Court to review state courts with respect to matters of federal law. UberMitch (talk) 06:45, 14 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
