I supposte that PAIGC (Guine-Bissau), PAICV (Cape Verde) and MLSTP (St. Tomé e Principe) were marxist-leninist.--194.65.151.249 11:28, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

They were not. —Sesel 17:14, 10 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Some other points:

Guine-Bissau is colored orange, but is not refered in the list.

Peru should not be yellow? I think that peruvian militar government was much more "socialist" than, for example, Surinam (but I don't know if they called temsefs "socialist")--194.65.151.249 11:57, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

India, Lanka[edit]

India and Sri Lanka are officially known as socialist states, although this has little real importance. --Soman 15:40, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

European socialist governments[edit]

You missed out the Spanish Republic, France, Britain, and Germany, which all had democratically elected socialist governments, mostly in the between war years and after.

Map of European Governmentss[edit]

Your map of States that have at one time or another claimed socialism as a matter of state policy I think should include Sweden, Norway and Italy. Not to mention Greece and Austria, before the Soviet Union withdrew its tanks (in Austria they remained until 1954!). - Alenux Aug.13th '07
