I suggest that this image be swapped for the darker photo of Warren B. Hamilton that is currently at the top of his Wikipedia page. I took both photographs on the same day in 2007. There was initially an objection from Wikipedia that one of these photographs (possibly this one) could be found elsewhere on the Web; that may have been with his Colorado School of Mines faculty page, or with an obituary or memorial page. In any event, no one else has copyright or any commercial interest in these two fairly similar photos, which are the best from this period of his life. I would be happy to transfer to Wikimedia Commons if that would keep them broadly available, for anyone who wants to write about WBH. For example, the Geological Society of America is currently assembling an edited volume of special papers in his honor, which could occasion more discussion when it is published.
