Image Info?[edit]

This image was mentioned on talk:high dynamic range imaging - was it created from multiple photographs? Was tone mapping used? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Darxus (talkcontribs) 15:27, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

First: I am actually a fan of Matt Wade who may have uploaded the picture which is currently displayed on the page List of Presidents of the United States. Second: I am confused about who gets credit for which picture (because of the question, "How do I edit the author?") Third: I know photography, I have more than fifty years experience, 32 semester hours of university courses, five years as a photojournalist, one honorable mention for a photo of firefighters, one celebrity in my portfolio. So: The two pictures in question - WhiteHouseSouthFacade and WhiteHouseSouthFacadeHDR - The currently displayed file is the first of these, BUT the superior file is the second one, and the one that should be displayed, regardless of who made it.

And I would add, this has been going on since 2009 and if these two photographers are honest with themselves they will agreed that WhiteHouseSouthFacadeHDR is the better image. Far better, in fact. It should replace the currently displayed file.
