Rework[edit]

I'd like to rework this page to be closer to the model of Wikipedia:Find your source - would anyone object? Nikkimaria (talk) 03:21, 29 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Templates section[edit]

There are additional "find sources" templates besides just the main template {{Find sources}}; not sure if the others should be mentioned here directly, or just covered in the documentation at the main template, but it should go somewhere. Either or both of the following templates may be folded into Module:Find sources: {{find medical sources}}, and {{find biographical sources}}; and template {{find video game sources}} already is. So there's no hurry about updating the section here, but we should keep an eye on developments, and once things stabilize with these templates, we can decide how to proceed. YouTube videos[edit]

I'm not quite sure why we're linking YouTube videos here, particularly non-free videos by random people and for-profit entities which promote particular commercial services. Who is the expected audience of this page?

If we want to keep linking videos, I think we could go in this general direction. I think it's more productive to look for freely licensed videos by libraries which focus on teaching more generally applicable skills. Nemo 07:47, 19 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
