And now de-prodded. The size is irrelevant. Notability is. A person with a crater on moon in his name is notable enough. `'mikkanarxi 16:59, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Kulikov, a dab by me. Strangely, it's too short for such a widespread name. KNewman 19:46, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
For my own part I split Rusalka from Slavic fairies (the page becomes unmaintainable). This lady surely merits a separate article. --Ghirla-трёп- 16:51, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Zaryadye, init, to kill a stupid redirect. (BTW, isn't there a movie theater Zaryadye in Moscow? Pls write someone) `'mikkanarxi 16:27, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I don't see why redirecting to Kitai-gorod was stupid. Probably it should be restored. --Ghirla-трёп- 16:51, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yoy re becoming lazy, colleague. :-) It was redirected to Eighth Sister. `'mikkanarxi 17:06, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Either spoof or unnotable. Google produces one link to google cash (nothing at the site) and the pic in the article shows tomatoes that are neither in the recipe described by the article nor existed in Ivan IV's time. I think, delete. --Irpen 01:32, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Igor – major expansion by me. Feel free to improve. Mhym 23:04, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia does not disambuiguate first names! I suggest listcruft should be removed. All these guys are not known by their first names. Nobody would search for Igor Ivanov under "Igor". --Ghirla-трёп- 06:51, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think two entries need a dab page. Template:Otheruses will suffice to disambiguate between them. --Ghirla-трёп- 08:09, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The Overcoat (animated film) - the legendary animated feature being worked on by Yuriy Norshteyn since 1981. The handling of references may be a touch unorthodox, but I wanted to make sure that I could link to the same reference more than once for different facts. I had to sift through tons of different sources. Anyone who has some knowledge that I missed - please help (especially the exact details of Norshteyn's exit from Soyuzmultfilm in the 1980s). Oh, and this would be a good article to translate into Russian. I'd do it, but lack a cyrillic keyboard... Esn 04:27, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I changed the references into the standard referencing system using the MediaWiki software. Apparently Esn is not happy with that. So much for trying to help. Errabee 13:07, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Please see your talk page... I simply thought that there was more than one acceptable referencing system and that another would've been more usefull to readers of the article. I may be wrong about the first part, and I'm sorry about posting the article here - I should have tried to look carefully through WP:Reference myself first. Esn 01:15, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Brodnici, Bolohoveni , check the Romanian mutilation of Old Slavic words. Russian editors' intervention definitely erequired. `'mikkanarxi 18:36, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I assume these strange dots above letters is the Tatar counterpart to Lachinka? This needs to be fixed. --Ghirla-трёп- 12:17, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Battle of Odessa is a copyvio. I reverted it and will check the other article too. Apparently this user made a lot of cpyvios, see his talk... -- Grafikm(AutoGRAF) 18:04, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
User:DVD R W/Скала Парус I have started translating this from ru:Скала Парус but need some help if anyone is interested. The author ru:Участник:Serguei S. Dukachev asked me to wait a week, while he adds some things, so I am keeping it in my userspace for now. I am also unsure of the name in English, Skala Parus, Parus Rock, or Sail Rock? Feel free to edit it in my userspace, as I will move it properly, retaining the GFDL history of revisions. I also need help finding a paper source or two. DVD+ R/W 01:36, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
This is one of those cases when there is no established English name—whatever name you use is going to be virtually unknown in the West. I would recommend "Sail Rock", because, all else being equal, it's English and other variants are not. Of course, all other variants are to be mentioned in the article and appropriate redirects are to be created.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 14:19, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I moved it from my userspace to Skala Parus, uncertain over the minor difference of whether <<Скала>> is "rock" or "cliff". DVD+ R/W 18:34, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
One of the last missing Russia-related articles from 2005 Britannica. In its current form, should be speedied. --Ghirla-трёп- 23:01, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I split Caspian expeditions of the Rus from Igor, Grand Prince of Kiev, but User:Beit Or proceeded to restore this stuff to the general article thrice within one hour, forcing me to abandon the subject. I hope somebody will explain to him that forking and mind-boggling revert warring will not be tolerated. --Ghirla-трёп- 10:07, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Also, please check its inflammatory DYK nomination by User:Piotrus. --Ghirla-трёп- 12:47, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop your senseless accusations and check the references attached to the article. The article has already been reported below, btw.--Kober 12:58, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Also adopt more civil tone. - Darwinek 15:34, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It is not a breach of civility to call inflammatory statements "inflammatory". Please check the dictionary. --Ghirla-трёп- 08:59, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It is a cut'n'paste copyvio from the link mentioned. If you want it, you rewrite it ASAP, or tomorrow I am deleting it. `'mikkanarxi 08:10, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The article was a copyvio from here. I attempted to rewrite it; additional help from volunteers is appreciated. --Ghirla-трёп- 15:15, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Seconded. "Russia" is a common English name for Russian Federation, and in Russia itself the names "Russia" and "Russian Federation" are equivalent per Constitution.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 15:38, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sheesh! Aren't there any Muscovites among Russian wikipeds? "Gorbushka" black market (ДК имени Горбунова) for a long time was a place to buy pirated CDs. Now I see the name was adopted by some Moscow businesses. The current article is bullhit, but I have no time to fix it. `'mikka(t) 19:07, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The article is not edited by Georgian wikipedian(s) only. It is quite evenhanded and properly referenced using Georgian, Russian and Western sources.--Kober 17:53, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Not so. The civil war was "tacitly fueled by Russia", without references backing this up, it is not NPOV. And there are more like this one. I'll mark them as unsourced. Errabee 23:35, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I removed that passage about the civil war added by an anon user. I don't see any other POV problems in the text.--Kober 04:25, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It's funny: when requesting this article, I referred to thisdude. I was not aware about his namesake! Thanks anyway. --Ghirla-трёп- 16:27, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
