The AA Rano Group of Industries is a Nigerian National industrial conglomerate, founded by Auwalu Abdullahi Rano - AA Rano the conglomerate is one of the largest Oil and Gas company in Nigeria which recently diversified into tapping the non Oil sectors of Agriculture, Logistics and Transport (Airline).The group employs as a workforce over 10,000 people,aside indirect beneficiaries of over 10,000 people generating an annual estimated revenue in excess of US$1.1 billion.[1][2][3][4]

The Conglomerate was founded in 1996 with a retail outlet in Kano state as oil and Gas Company and was subsequently incorporated in the year 2002 as a registered Limited Liability Company with the Nigerian Government - AA Rano Nigeria Limited. The company has now over 120 retail outlets in Nigerian state and the FCT with over 600 haulage trucks as well as over a 100 LPG trucks.[5] The industry has grown to expand Operations in other key economic sectors; in 2014 the AA Rano Nigeria Limited has secured an operating licensed to operate an Oil terminal with 60millions liters tank farm capacity, the terminal designed to receive vessels, store products and distribute same via trucking across Nigeria .[6] In the year 2015, the AA Rano Industries had established Lausu Marine and Logistics Company,liecesend with Department of Petroleum Products DPR.[7] The company was established as Shipping Company in 2015 and duly incorporated as a Petroleum Products freighting company in Nigeria , fully licensed by Department of Petroleum Products (DPR) to engage in maritime freights with full permit.[8] It is also licensed by the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) to carry out maritime duties.The company has recently acquired a New Vessel (M.T LAUSAU).[9] AA Rano industries also establishes the Rano lubricant which produces oil, industrial Oil and Engine oil.[10] The AA Rano industries also have as its subsidiary the Rano Agro Chemicals was established in 2016 a rice milling Company in Dawankin Kudu Local Government Area of Kano state with an annual production capacity of 60,000MT.[11] In 2019, the Conglomerate expands to operation in Transportation with Rano Air,for (Domestic Airline Operations).In April 2022, the company has also expanded operation to secure license in operating a fully automated liquidified Petroleum Gas (LPG) terminal located at ijegun water site in Lagos state,the terminal is designed to received LPG cargos, safely store and distribute same via LPG trucks across Nigeria.[12][13]

AA Rano oil is oil & Gas industry in Nigeria with 56 ML Tank farm in Lagos, with 120 Retail outlet/ Filling stations across Nigerian and over 600 trucks & LPG Terminals as well as acquired vessel (M.T LAUSAU) in the year 2014.The depot located in Ejegun-Egba AA Rano Nigeria Limited’s core business is the wholesale and retail of PMS, DPK, AGO, LPG and lubricants to its customers at its various filling stations scattered across the country and the supply of AGO and LPFO to manufacturers and other industrial concerns.[14]
RanoGaz Company - LPG[edit]
RanoGaz, commissioned and licensed April 2022 is a fully automated Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) terminal located at Ijegun Water Side Lagos. The terminal is designed to receive LPG Cargo, safely store the product and distribute LPG via trucking.
The terminal has the capacity of 10,000m3.[15]

Rano lubricant produces base oil, industrial Oil and Engine oil.[16]

A Nigerian airline, founded in 2019, with 5 elderly Embraer aircraft. Domestic Airline Operations from, Lagos , Kano , Abuja , Kaduna , Sokoto , Katsina , Maiduguri and Katsina .[17][18]

The AA Rano terminal was licensed in April 2014, the bonded White Petroleum products terminal is designed to receive vessels, store products and distribute via trucking across the Nigeria states.[19][20]

This company is responsible for transportation of the AA Rano products across the 36 states of Nigeria and the FCT. The Company has a truck capacity of over 1000; 850 for white Product as well as over 150 for LPG.[21]
