Richard Helm is currently with The Boston Consulting Group. He has some degree of fame as one of the "Gang of Four" for being a co-author of the award winning book Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software and was awarded the 2005 ACM Programming Languages Award. The "Gang of Four" was awarded the AITO Dahl-Nygaard Prize for 2006.
