Lead[edit]

  • Wikilink toss to Toss (cricket) and man of the match to its respective article
  • "to complete a dominating nine wicket victory with more than twenty overs remaining." - not so sure that the word "dominating" is appropriate on this encyclopedia

Background[edit]

Route to the final[edit]

  • "and then made their Benson & Hedges Cup score," - am pretty certain the word "highest" is missing from this sentence

Summary[edit]

  • Wikilink toss to Toss (cricket) and man of the match to its respective article
  • "and after keeping Paul Todd on his back foot" - try to reword the text in bold to something more formal
    • It's not informal, it's just a technical term. I have wikilinked to an appropriate article. Harrias talk 10:15, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Hassan was later caught behind playing a reckless shot off" - the word "reckless" sounds somewhat like sports journalism in this instance
  • "neither consistently attacking of defending." - typo; should be spelled as or

Aftermath[edit]

  • Eric Hill should be wikilinked to Eric Hill (cricketer)
  • "by winning the 1987 NatWest Trophy and the 1989 Benson & Hedges Cup.[13][1]" - refs in numerical order please
    • MOS:REF specifically states that "References need not be moved solely to maintain the chronological order of footnotes as they appear in the article.." But it's no biggie, so fixed. Harrias talk 10:15, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

References[edit]

  • I believe Reference 3 is missing the chapter as has been done with the other uses of the Wisden sources
  • Henry Blofeld in Reference 10 should be wikilinked and the same for Eric Hill in Reference 12

Those were the issues I found. On hold. MWright96 (talk) 09:49, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@MWright96: Thanks for the review; I have responded to each point above. Harrias talk 10:15, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Harrias: Am happy with the changes and will promote to GA class. MWright96 (talk) 12:38, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
