Talk:Algoma, Winnebago County, Wisconsin

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Algoma does not lie in Winnebago County at all, but rather in the more eastern lying Kewaunee County.

Wikipedia is confused and mixed up information for the City of Algoma, on Lake Michigan, in Kewaunee County, with the Town (Township) of Algoma, near Oshkosh and Lake Winnebago, in Winnebago County. The City of Algoma has a population of just over 3,000 while the Town of Algoma has a population almost double that.

By the way, Winnebago County is NOT close to Lake Michigan. It lies along Lake Winnebago.
