Is this scheme wrong?

Hi, back when the OLPC-project was current there was talk about the choice of the Marvell "Libertas" for providing IEEE 802.11-support, as this chip contains a proprietary RTOS. Now this article claims, ANY baseband processor does so. How can this be?

Also, please note, that e.g. an Low-voltage differential signaling-connection also features a baseband processor. User:ScotXWt@lk 11:44, 19 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
