I'm just a casual user of Wikipedia so I do not wish to log in, but the Commissioner's name is misspelled: Beverley Busson (LEY) at the end of Beverley. Someone please correct.

Government over reach[edit]

Thanks for the work you do for are country as you have served throughout your life, l am really bothered by the control the Prime Minister is putting on us as citizens in saying who we can support. If this is allowed the government could deem any opposition as a threat therefore limiting are rights as citizens to oppose. I am hopefully you see the danger of this passing this type of control and vote against it Thanks Steve Erickson, a Canadian citizen of B.C. 207.148.176.185 (talk) 17:34, 18 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Debate on emergency act[edit]

I am concerned with the content of your debate , as l listen to it your arguments seem like I was listening to the news, or the prime minister. Not that they are always wrong but we’re the facts they presented true. The protesters went there, they thought in there given rights to protesters peacefully for some reason you labeled them as illegal. If they were truly illegal the government would not need extra power to remove them. Did you look into the story behind the flag , but painted them all with the same brush, do you know the meaning behind the symbolism for the Hindu , Buddhist community. I think the guy carrying the flag was saying,, is this the try of government you want Canada to have. I do believe that he should not have been carrying it because what it typically stands for. Do you know the full story behind the guns at the border? The overreach into the bank accounts was enough alone to defeat the motion, it had the potential and almost did to upset the financial stability of Canada. It seem to me that you didn’t put put much thought into your arguments, or check out the truth of them for such a important vote. My hope is that we can learn from the past , our freedoms are way more important than party lines. 207.148.176.57 (talk) 19:59, 25 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
